Bree Ali is a Bengali-Canadian actor and singer working in film and TV.
In addition to her film, TV and commercial credits, Bree regularly performs across Toronto’s vibrant live comedy theatres as an improviser, an a cappella musical comedian (singer & lyricist), as well as one-half of improv duo Ontario (alongside Patrick Ronan Stewart).
Bree comes from a family of travellers, having grown up around the world (Kuwait, Bangladesh, Singapore, USA, Canada), and visited four continents and eight Canadian provinces and territories.
She’s fluent in English, with Standard Canadian and Standard American accents, and Bengali.
And she’s always dreaming of karaoke with Maya Rudolph whilst Tina Fey and Amy Poehler cheer on incessantly. Other comedy and producing idols include Conan O’Brien, Lucille Ball, Mindy Kaling, Trevor Noah, Hasan Minhaj, Hari Kondabolu, Rory Scovel, The Dollop podcast (Dave Anthony and Gareth Reynolds)… and John Mulaney. Always John Mulaney.
Here’s a calendar listing of all upcoming screenings and releases (film, TV, commercial and digital), and live shows (theatre, sketch comedy, improv and musical comedy). Page updated on an ongoing basis.
